Privacy policy
Effective October 31, 2026
RCM Ledger Link ("the connector") is a private tool operated by Pavandeep ("we") for our own bookkeeping work. This policy explains what information the connector handles and how.
Information the connector accesses
When a QuickBooks Online company is connected, the connector uses Intuit's QuickBooks Online Accounting API to read and record accounting information for that company, such as the chart of accounts, vendors, customers, products and services, tax codes, transactions, attachments and reports. It only accesses companies that a user with the right permissions has chosen to connect through Intuit's sign-in page.
How the information is used
- To answer bookkeeping questions and prepare reports for the connected companies.
- To record transactions in the connected companies, only after a preview has been reviewed and approved.
We do not sell, rent or share this information with anyone for advertising or any other purpose, and we do not use it to build profiles of people.
Where information is kept
The connector runs on our own computer. The sign-in tokens Intuit issues are stored there, encrypted with the computer's operating system. A log of what the connector has posted is also kept there. This website does not store any QuickBooks information; its sign-in page only passes Intuit's one-time sign-in code back to the connector on our computer.
Service providers
The connector is used through Claude, an AI assistant made by Anthropic. Information the connector retrieves is shown to Claude within our own conversations so that it can help with the work, and is handled under the terms of our Anthropic account. Intuit provides the QuickBooks Online service and API. Cloudflare hosts this website.
Keeping information secure
Access uses Intuit's OAuth 2.0 sign-in; we never see or store QuickBooks passwords. Sign-in tokens are encrypted on the computer where the connector runs, and the computer is protected by its own sign-in and disk encryption.
Disconnecting and deleting information
A company can be disconnected at any time from the Apps page in QuickBooks Online, or from the connector. Disconnecting revokes the connector's access and deletes the stored sign-in for that company. Accounting records that were posted to QuickBooks stay in QuickBooks, which is where they belong.
